Hi, my name is Rio. I am a very lovable guy who loves sitting in the window where I can enjoy the sunshine and listen to the birds singing. I can be talkative sometimes but I know when to give it a rest. For a big guy, I have a fairly soft meow. 

I used to be homeless, but then I got a scratch on my eye and a human was nice enough to get me medical help. It felt good to have a home to live in and my wish is for a furrever home where I can spend my days and nights playing with toys (I love stuffed toys and feather wands) and know that I'm safe from the mean streets. I don't even try to sneak out anymore because I've been told that's a no-no. I do my best to behave and follow rules and I don't jump up on counters...isn't that a good sign?

I get along with other kitties and with children as long as they stay away from my belly. That tickles too much! I probably would get along good with dogs too, but my foster mom doesn't have one so she doesn't know for sure. She says I'm a pretty mellow guy though. I love attention!

I like the fancy cat trees, toys, and bedding where I am staying although sometimes I prefer sleeping in an empty box. I just want someone to love who will love me back. That's way more important to me. Are you the person for me?
