Hi, I’m Kate!  I am a super sweet girl. My sister Alley and I got left at the animal shelter because the daughter had allergies.  It's a long story of how I got from there to here and back again, but the bottom-line is, I'm affectionate and very people-friendly.  Like my sister, I'm a beautiful, plush Snowshoe mix cat with gorgeous blue eyes and a cute pink nose. If you're not familiar with the Snowshoe breed, it's a relatively new one - a mix of the Domestic Shorthair Tuxedo patterned cat and Siamese breed. Snowshoes come in all the Siamese point colors and have blue eyes, white paws and noses. Besides being pretty, Snowshoes tend to be laid-back, affectionate and less vocal and needy than the Siamese.   

I don't seek out attention but will come sit with you and love to be brushed. I insist on sleeping with you (and so does my sister, Alley), so I hope you'll consider adopting us together. My foster mom says that I'm a feisty one - and I guess that's true.  See, I'm smaller than most and I don't have claws, so I have to have a big attitude when there are other kitties around. I'm good at convincing all the cats in the household that I'm the queen of them all - even the really mean bad kitties.  Yes, they bow before me!  I'm not mean to them - I'm good with them, that is, so long as they know their place.

I would like to be adopted with my sister Alley, if at all possible.   Alley is my special best friend, so I hope you'll consider adopting us both together so we can stay together.  We got sick at the shelter and Alley needed surgery.  We were fortunate that Austin Siamese Rescue helped us get out of there and found a vet to provide the care we needed.   We are both well now and SO ready to go to a new home.  We've been in foster care WAY TOO LONG for kitties as nice as we are!

I hope you'll ask about us and consider making a place for us in your heart and home. We are really nice, low maintenance girls who are people-friendly and love to be near you. Both of us are front-paw declawed. Please think about adopting Alley and me together. We'll love you forever if you do!

P.S. I hate having my photograph taken, so that's why there aren't as many photos of me as there are of Alley.   I tend to be camera-shy, while my sister LOVES to pose for the camera.    Go figure!
