Won't you please love me, even though I'm not a baby, and I'm not a fancy-schmantzy Siamese?
Your eyes and smile have led me to regard you like my best hope of finding my own family.
I know you could have any kitten that you wanted, but they are not as interesting as me.
My devotion runs so deep, you will never find its bottom, and don't you love warm purrs and faithful loyalty?
So I ask for your love, and I hope I will deserve it, cause it takes a lot of nerve just to believe.
But I believe we'd be happy. Yes, I think we'd be happy. Oh, I'm sure you'd be happy with me.
(My foster mom listens to Marilyn Rucker's Voyeur Princess "Serenade" a lot. Catchy tune. Buy it at http://www.marilynrucker.com/cds.cfm)
Have you seen videos of the Japanese cat Maru? Like this one? Just like me, right?
From her foster mom:
When she showed up in my yard as a very young teenage cat, I found a rescue organization (not ASR) that promised to place her. Instead, she adopted 40 of their orphan kittens and raised them. At least three were Siamese. When the rescue agency closed, I found her a home with a neighbor, but she later developed Stage IV breast cancer and asked me to find Hyacinth a new home.
Do you have room in heart and home for a heroine cat? She'll love you forever.
Watch for Hyacinth's chapter in Harry Pawter and the Sorceror's Home coming soon!
