A sweet little girl who has been horribly wounded, but purrs and makes muffins in spite of it all...
UPDATE 2: Muffin continues to do well physically, and you would never know that she was ever wounded! She has settled into being a shy, sweet girl with a gentle personality. Her new family will need to be willing to wait on her to become comfortable in her new home, and give her time to let her personality bloom.
UPDATE: After Muffin's physical wounds healed, she had to work on her emotional wounds. She was scared and shy for a couple of years, and suddenly one day she decided it was time to join her foster family again! She's now sweet and loving without the use of pain pills, and loves to be held and petted. She has spent the past couple of years eating eating well, and she is now a little butterball! Are you wiling to take a chance on this sweet little girl!? Little Muffin was taken to the Emergency Clinic in South Austin with horrific lacerations on her hind legs. The laceration on her right leg is stapled shut in a long line extending almost 8 inches, while the laceration on her left leg has too little skin left to stitch, so it was left open and bandaged. In spite of all this, Muffin is a very sweet girl! She purrs and makes biscuits and is happy to have her head scratched and to be loved on. We anticipate she'll heal well, and should be ready for her forever home soon!
