Hello. My name is Jena and I'm a very pretty lilac point Siamese. I am quiet and shy and I love my BFF Jeremy. We were both in a pretty nasty shelter in Bay City, TX and ended up together at a nice, nice foster home. Then we came up to Austin and when we got seperated for a little while I got sick and wouldn't eat much. Jeremy missed me too. We're back together and a lot happier. We came a long way to get away from the awful shelter. Took a bunch of cat-loving folks, but we're safe now! Our foster Mom understands how scared we were and she and our foster Sis have been playing with us and showing me that human hands can be nice and now we're having fun. I love to be petterd, but I hide under the bed sometimes. I do come out to play with Jeremy and the other kittens but I'm still a little shy around humans. I think it will just take me a little time to trust again - the shelter was a very scary place! Foster Mom thinks I'm extremely pretty because of my blue color and my big blue eyes. UPDATE: Jenna contracted a pretty bad URI and is currently finishing up her treatment. She has come out of her shell very nicely and is not dependent on Jeremy now. Jenna absolutely adores being held and petted and will butt you with her head to keep you enguaged. She is learning about toys and open area play and getting more comfortable with the home environment all the time. She will make someone a great companion and will probably both be la ap cat extraordinaire! UPDATE 11-12-12: Jenna is healthy and ready for her adoptive home now. She has turned into a beautiful diminutive girl and is VERY affectionate. She loves to run around the house and play with the other kittens, but doesn't really like to be caught much because right now it means going back into the condo. When she's in her new forever home she will end up and on-you-lap, in-your-pocket kind of cat. She is scheduled to be spayed this week.
