FOSTER FAIL!!! One of the ASR volunteers sister had been "fostering" Pepper. She knew all along this girl would never leave her house :-) Too much a part of it already. Besides, what is one more animal in a house full of them. Thank you Ann-Marie, Jenna and Brooke for loving this girl. She is such a deserving girl.

I was found with my 2 older kittens Roscoe & Phoebe near a shed.   I was so friendly, I was taken to a home before they realized I had left 5 newborn kittens inside the locked shed.  All 8 of us got rescued by an ASR volunteer.

They told me I was the BEST mom they had ever seen!  I am now done with being a mom and ready to start my own life! I adore kids and being with people. Just need to find a home that LOVES a good tortie :-)

Pepper LIVES to play, hunt wand toys and bird watch. She is very laid back and seems to like everyone that comes to the house. She goes crazy for catnip and wand toys. She is very independent. She will follow you around, jump up on the sofa and sit next to you but isn't a lap cat (she prefers to sit on the floor in front of you or next to you). She also talks to you when you come in and will greet you! She has adjusted really fast and so far is a super easy foster kitty. The only problem so far seems to be at night. She loves to play-attack the feet of her 12 year old human who wants to go to bed. She loves toes moving under sheets and doesn't quite realize it is bed time :-) She adores the girls she lives with! She really is WONDERFUL with children.

For more info. on this very deserving gal, email below. Right now she lives with 3 other cats, 1 hermit crab, 2 rabbits....and 4 humans and 2 dogs.  She has adjusted pretty well and seems to like the dogs now.  Pepper's foster mom is super attached so only a rockstar family will do :-)
