Contact Baby 3's Caretaker/Foster Directly: Courtesy Listing (ASRcourtesylisting@gmail.com) Siamese, spayed female, approx. 10-12 years old, no known health issues Strictly indoor cat, never been outside. Needs one-on-one rehab for shyness due to isolation.
This kitty was formerly owned by a very elderly lady whose memory recently failed to the point that she didn’t know she owned a cat any longer, but somehow still put out feed and water every day, strictly from habit. They were together for approximately 10-12 years, which is all the cat’s life. Baby is fat and healthy, with a beautiful dark (almost black) seal point coat. Always a timid cat, she became even more so when an aggressive second cat came into the household and took over. She rarely came out of hiding, only to eat and use the litter box. Before the second cat, Baby would sit with her owner, begging to be brushed and petted and, of course, sleep with her. She never came out when anyone else was in the house, but as soon as the company left, she would reappear. Baby offers absolutely no hostility when picked up, just wants to hide her face. She has hissed a time or two in our care, but only because of all the strangers and new cat faces around. A quiet atmosphere, with a mild-mannered adult who could devote tons of one- on- one time, and provide a restricted area, at first, to prevent her from going into hiding again, would be just the ticket to returning this beautiful cat to her former loving and devoted self.
