Please Note: This animal is listed as a courtesy to another organization. Please be sure to contact the foster/caretaker for more information about him. Meet Sinatra, the Snowshoe Siamese! He's SUUUPER sweet, pretty low-key, LOVES getting petted, kneading his bed and you, will climb on your shoulder, and softly mew for attention. He also does this hilarious thing where he crawls under his bed and creeps around the room like a turtle. lol We think he likes to sleep under his bed, too. He would probably make a fantastic snuggle kitty! And we're also pretty sure he would like another animal friend. He likes playing "footsies" under the door with other kitties and tries to get out of his room to go see them. But he would also be very happy as an only-pet as long as he gets lotsa lovin'. Sinatra is about 4 years old and was saved by Pawsitive Karma Rescue <https://www.facebook.com/pawsitivekarmarescue?directed_target_id=0> from the Austin Animal Center just one day before he was scheduled to be euthanized. Definitely a kitty worth saving! His immune system is not great since he is FIV+. Cats with FIV can still have long, normal lives. They can spend all their time with non-infected cats, grooming each other and drinking out of the same bowls and never spread it, as FIV is only communicated through deep bite wounds (or from being born of an FIV+ parent) and only to other cats. Sinatra appears to be a lover, and not a biter. Once he gets over his little kitty cold and gets checked out by our vet, we can test to see how he does with our own cat-friendly cats.
