Sugar came to me thru Kendra with her last kitten. She was thought to be pregnant, but an ultrasound proved she was not, so she was spayed on 4/10/14. Sugar in a very inconsistent cat as far as her behavior. She can be cranky and lash out, hiss and bite but also be okay with petting and holding. In my opinion she is the kind of cat that we should adopt out to someone with no other pets or children. She supposedly was trapped by a Good Sam in the Houston area who kept her and her kittens until they were older and then they passed her to us. I belive that she must have been living outdoors at the time and is not truly comfortable being indoors. She didn't like the other cats at my house and certainly did not like being in a condo but was quiet there. UPDATE: Sugar was placed with Roger, the caretaker at Pat Fehey's storage facility in a rural area where she can be an indoor/ outdoor kitty. Pat has taken two young feral kitties to be "barn" cats since they are having an issue with rodents. He has built a fantastic shelter for them that will be cool and shady in the summer and warm and dry in the winter. Sugar will be kept indoors for 4-6 weeks and then given the choice to go outdoors and in.
