Hello! I'm Lynda Lou from Nacogdoches, TX. I'm a young girl and very healthy. I used to test positive for heart worms but NO MORE! Unlike doggies when a kitty gets heartworms they do not have to go thru a long and expensive treatment. Basically our bodies fight the worms and all you need to do is make sure the worms can't multiply (the Advantix II) and that we don't have a reaction to the process of getting them gone. It took me a while (about two years) to kick those guys out but I finally did it. I got a clean bill of health in December. I am a really, really sweet kitty who is very affectionate and not so good with other kitties. I am uncomfortable with them and I growl, but I am not agressive and I live in a room with three others and we're just fine together. It may take me a while and we might never be bonded chums but I can live with another kitty or maybe a little dog. I love to sleep with you and snuggle under the covers. My favorite place is up next to your head with my head on your shoulderr and I'm quiet and still and your ear will never be cold. I do give kisses too. I really want my own forever home and my own special BFF! PS: I have a tipped ear because the original rescuer didn't know I was a pet until after I was spayed in a TNR program and that's how they identify the altered kitties in a clan. Someone did a horrid job of it too, but I'm still very beautiful. IF you think you would like to meet me and give me the forever home I've been waiting so long for please just let my foster mom know. UPDATE December 2016: I could not have gotten a better Christmas gift - Lynda Lou was re-tested and tested negative to BOTH heartworm tests. This means that Lynda Lou is no longer heartworm positive - free of them and has a clean bill of health. Yipeeee! She is a truly special affectionate and beautiful girl. We'll include several months of Advantix II that you apply topically once a month. Probably a good idea to keep this protocol going.
