Hello,

My name is Kooza and I am a survivor!!!

I am a half Siamese, silver tabby and you can see our mother here, she's Bria, a really pretty and nice lynx point Siamese.   I love to play and tumble and roll until I'm worn out and then I nap, nap, nap!

We were born here and our Mom Bria took really good care of us, she even adopted two little orphan girls and now they're our sisters and our family.  Bliss and Becca are already adopted too!

My little sister Ryell had panleukopenia and she died from it.  A little later my brother Thrall and I got it too only foster Mom figured it out really early and got us the medical care and treatment we needed and now we'll be just fine.  We are back to eating and playing and on August 3rd we go back to the vet for a checkup to be okayed to be adopted.

I need a home with another kitty or a kitty friendly dog to play with so I can run and play and expend all my youthful energy.  Of course I will settle down as I age and I will be a great lap kitty.  I love people because I've been handled since the day I was born.  I purr and I sometimes would rather mess with foster mom's feet than play with my friends.

I do the cutest thing:  when you scratch or pet my back I arch up to meet your hand but I stand on my tip toes to do it.  I'm not sure other kitties are toe dancers.

UPDATE:  Thrall got his forever home and now I'm the only one left.  I really, really want a home of my own - maybe before Christmas.  I'd love to be home for Christmas (and maybe even Thanksgiving).

I was cleard of all the panleuk and all my blood tests and everyting came out normal so I'm good to go.  Just contact my foster Mom to meet me!

Won't you please consider me as a new member to your family and I'll love you forever!!

UPDATE 3-16:  Poor little Kooza just can't catch a break.  She was tested for a bladder infection this week and turns out she has Struvite crystals in her urine.  Now that is NOT a big problem as long as she eats a prescription food, which will help to acidify the urine and disolve the crystals before they become a problem.  A good explanation of this can be found at http://www.peteducation.com/article.cfm?c=1+2142&aid=2729
IF you are an adopter interested in helping a "special needs" kitty this is a relatively simple, straight-forward issue that is usually controlled by diet.  PLEASE consider taking this baby into your heart and home.  She is a JOY to have around and deserves a loving forever home!
