Contact Bert's Caretaker/Foster Directly: Stephanie (stefpq@yahoo.com) OMG. Almost 2 years to the day, I got adopted. Foster mom is so happy and sad too. She said she thought I would always be in her life. I am going home to a wonderful lady who is not only cat savvy....she has books written about cats. Looks like I hit the lottery. Thank you ASR!!
Bert was found on Christmas Eve. He was living in a storm drain in a neighborhood. We left him some food on the curb and figured he was a feral. We went back each night and Bert started talking and talking to us. By New Years Eve, he was wrapping himself between our feet as we walked. Poor boy had been lost for some time. With all the fireworks around, we decided to take Bert home. Bert has suprised us! He is litterbox trained, perfect manners, likes other cats, LOVES catnip. We assumed Bert was younger because he runs up and down the hallway. We were told he could be between 6-8. There is NOT a lap Bert does not like. He loves all kinds of company as well. He is an all around WONDERFUL cat!! I get emails asking about Bert so want to emphasizie what his ideal home would be like. Bert does NOT know dogs. He is such a sensative cat, I think they would scare him unless it was an older calm dog, familiar with cats. Would probably take time for Bert to adjust to a dog. He would LOVE to have a older cat friend, or a more mellow cat buddy. I think a very active kitten or young cat would be a little much for Bert (I fostered some here over the year and Bert, like all my cats, was not too crazy about the super hyped up ones). Everyone who meets Bert loves him. In particular, my friends who "are not cat people" as they tell me. They all love Bert. We hope someone can give Bert the forever home he deserves. If you are looking for a calm, relaxing lap cat, look no further. You found him!!!! For more info. on Bert, please email Stephanie at stefpq @yahoo.com or you can text her at 512-694-6209. DO NOT CONTACT ASR. There is an application process for Bert. Thank you!
